Izzard Design takes home Gold at Best Awards ‘17

It’s been a long wet winter and the Izzard team was ready for another legendary night at the Designer Institute of New Zealand Best Design Awards. We booked a table so that everyone could come and although we were confident we had created incredible restaurants we were also aware of the stiff competition for all categories.

In the end, we could not have been happier or prouder of the design leads, our support team, and our suppliers and clients when we were awarded not one but two trophies.

Gerome was awarded the highest accolade for hospitality design, the Gold Pin. Congratulations to our clients who had the foresight to transform the old Parnell institution of Iguacu, into a modern, luxe space that is a pleasure to be in.

Giraffe was awarded the Bronze award for hospitality design. Congratulations to Simon Gault and the team for trusting us to create a large and beautiful space, and resulting in what has quickly becomes a new icon at the Viaduct Harbour.
